Andrew is an active member of the Winnipeg music scene and is gaining attention and recognition across Canada as an accomplished multi-genre trumpet performer and educator.
In October 2022 he released his debut album “Far As The Eye Can See” with his own project, the Andrew Littleford Quintet, which features his own original jazz compositions and arrangements. His diverse musical abilities makes him one of the most sought after trumpet players on Winnipeg's vibrant music scene. Andrew is a founding member with many local ensembles including the Dirty Catfish Brass Band, Hot & Dirty Dance Party, Winnipeg Jazz Collective, “B’” Side Champs, PRZM, Sunny Roseland. He is also a long-standing member of the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra, Ron Paley Big Band, and can be heard on a variety of albums with other Manitoba artists.
He is grateful to be have been given many opportunities to share the bandstand with a diverse group of world class artists including: Tommy Banks, Bob Brookmeyer, Don Byron, Michael Cain, Galactic, George Culligan, Derrek Gardner, Vincent Gardner, Mark Gross, Mike Herriot, Giorgio Magnanensi, Rob McConnell, Tiger Okoshi, Sam Rivers, Jovino Santos Neto, Sloan, Byron Stripling, Brad Turner, Kenny Washington, and Bijon Watson.
He holds a B.Mus from Brandon University and M.Mus from the New England Conservatory of Music (Boston, MA) in Jazz Performance.
